When a search engine performs a search it looks for any of the words you have asked it to search for.
For example in the following search request: “building materials” the search engine would look for the word
”building” and the word “materials”.
As this site is about building materials, the above search request will likely result in a list of all pages in the site.
Try to:
- Keep your search requests to one key word
- Think about the topic of the whole site and avoid words that are likely to appear on every page.
- Type all searches in lowercase to ensure you get all incidences of the word regardless of capitalisation.
